- Standard is slipping
After around 4 visits to Smith and Daughters I feel this establishment is not delivering the same standard of tasty fare it became famous for. On the positive side,the smokey Champinones al Ajillo are exceptional. However, there are several dishes on the menu which unfortunately miss the mark. On the last visit, my boyfriend and I tried different dishes to those previously enjoyed and were quite disappointed in the quality over all. The cocktails are some of Melbourne's best, but on the pricey side. The service is mostly upbeat and excellent.
