Vier Linden is a delightful spot, sufficiently removed from the touristy parts of Zürich (yet easily accessible from them) to have a local feel. There are really three stores here: a warm buffet, a bakery, and a restaurant. The restaurant has a small selection of prepared food, including a weekly special and daily special. The specials are a small assembly of diverse elements. You can get the specials in a large or small plate; the small plate was itself a good meal, so I imagine the large plate is pretty filling. The food is tasty and fresh. Well worth a visit. It may be the most affordable vegetarian restaurant food in Zürich.
