  • Solid vegan food

It was wonderful to actually find vegan food in this area so I was happy to try it. It is a "Subway-like" experience where there are buckets of ingredients that you can choose for them to put on your pizza as you go along the counter. Or you can order one of the pizzas they have names for (they make them on the spot too). I had a Margarita with vegan cheese (I think it's Daiya). It has a nice thin crust and is a portion that is a good size to eat in one meal. It wasn't exciting, but it was good. They understand what a vegan is, which was comforting and I ordered the dessert pizza too, which was crushed oreos on top of a pizza crust with chocolate sauce drizzled over the top. I wasn't a fan of the dessert pizza because the others I've had at other places are amazing (squishy dough, cinnamon and vanilla frosting on top). Another plus for this place is that it is next door to Fresh & Easy who has my favorite vegan candy bars: Thumbs Up, Jokerz, Mahalo, and Twilight.
