  • Good, especially for CT!

Living in Portland, Maine, one is constantly spoiled by the amount of vegan restaurants and options available. My family lives in CT, though, and when I visited they brought me to this restaurant. It was very good with extremely healthy meal options! I had the lasagna which consists of cashew ricotta, parsnip slices instead of noodles, a tasty red sauce and greens. I thoroughly enjoyed this food. The way that the restaurant is set up is very interesting, though. One walks in to see a large refrigerator filled with food in plastic boxes that can either be bought to bring home or warmed up in an oven to eat there at the restaurant (everything is vegan!). I did like that they allow people the option to buy food to bring home but I also really love freshly prepared dishes when I go out to eat. Also, I had a cupcake (they're really small) and it was just okay. I've definitely made much better vegan desserts myself. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed going here and my lasagna was scrumptious!
