  • Decent food, great deserts and atmosphere!

Great location being so close to Kyoto station. Not difficult to find - I used the picture of the map and the outside of the cafe as a guide and found it perfectly. The food was decent - I had the vegetable soup, salad, pickled carrots, curried lentils and vegan cheese served with bread. The waitress spoke good English and was able to advise me what was vegan. Lunch was okay but the selection of deserts was definitely worth it. I like the low seating and traditional atmosphere. They are mainly open for lunch and do tea and cake from 5-7pm daily. I asked about dinner and was told they only do this Monday, Wednesday and Friday, but this changes every few weeks. I would go back to try the vegan pizza I saw on the menu!
