- Fast and cheap when you're OK with a corporate chain
I'll admit it. I've eaten food that filled me up and made my tongue happy at Chipotle many, many times. I'm not thrilled at the fact that they're a corporation or that their ads sometimes co-opt my vegan ethics to make their slaughterhouses look sanitized, but when you're in a rush or on the road and you need a vegan burrito, Chipotle is just fine. The sofritas (sauted braised tofu) are quite tasty. If you choose between the sofritas and guac, your burrito costs $2 less. I usually don't. I've got a good job, health insurance, so I'm going to get sofritas and guac when I go to Chipotle.
