  • Great ambience, decor, plating & service

The entire menu is eggless but some dishes contain dairy; just need to confirm with the staff :) Featured here are the tiny potato salad ($6 ; contains dairy), the unagi maki ($15 ; mayo contains dairy) for sharing, Dad’s avocado fried rice ($15 ), Sis’s cold somen ($12 ), and, not forgetting, my kishi udon ($11 ) with a piece of sweet-savoury inari skin. Loved the ambience, the interior decor, the plating & the service, and gosh that teapot pattern is made out of dreams :’) Taste-wise, I liked how the udon was cooked to the right level of doneness, and how the savoury udon broth was really yummy :) It got too salty for me after getting through half the bowl, but this is quite common for this kind of udon soups I feel maybe it’s just my tastebuds xP Dad’s fried rice was expectedly oily but was super fragrant and not too salty, & Sis’s cold somen was really smooth & refreshing :) As for the unagi x cucumber maki rolls, it’d have been better if the unagi was pre-marinated with the sparsely distributed dots of decorative teriyaki sauce on the plate, which would have taken the dish to another level :3
