- A place to, er, chill
My partner and I probably doubled the average age of the clientele when we arrived on Saturday night, but no-one seemed to mind. [edited to correct an error] The raison-d'etre of this one is possibly music and booze rather than food, but the food was actually quite good and it's great that all of it is vegan. They didn't have my first choice of starter or main course but the grilled aubergine (perhaps slightly underdone) and spinach-and-'cheese' parcels were fine, as was the 'cheese'-cake. Service was slightly chaotic but we weren't in a hurry and the people were nice. There was recorded music playing but it wasn't obtrusive. Updated from previous review on Monday April 14, 2008
