- Adidaz - A strange place
Adidaz is a strange little restaurant. You can miss it quite easily from the dirty old busy street as the shop front isn't much to go by, but once you walk down the corridor to the main seating area it's quite nice and tranquil (as long as they don't have the tv on!) The main restaurant area is an indoor outdoor area - so bring your mozzie cream - I used to get eaten alive by mozzies here. The food can be very nice depending on what you order. As far as the food goes it is traditional Vietnamese style. I recommend all the spring rolls but be sure to order a few because you only get 1 or 2 and they are miniature. It's worth noting that they don't always have everything that's listed on the menu available. I used to go there a lot because I lived a few doors away and I am a vegan - but if I lived further away I wouldn't have bothered going there again as the staff are really miserable and stroppy and I didn't enjoy being eaten alive by the mozzies. You will want to bring your Vietnamese phrase book as the staff don't speak very much English (which is fine) and the menu is not quite correct - ie: the title of a dish and the description don't always match!
