- Original Falafel in Athens
This is the first falafel shop in Athens and with a super tasty falafel it is no wonder it is thriving. The falafel is big and full of veggies... most notably eggplant chunks. And while I am not a big fan of eggplant, it did not ruin my experience... though it also didn't help it. I also asked for hummus on my falafel in place of yogurt, though the employees simply told me they use tahini and did not give me hummus on my falafel. Disappointing. However, the falafel was big and filling and even tasty, though obvious improvements could be made. Still a great place if you're in a pinch.
