• Very surprised (and disappointed)

Le Potager du Marais was the only vegetarian restaurant that we actively sought out when we were staying in Paris. We were excited to go there and arrived a little after 1pm, two of us and our french bulldog, my husband's service dog. We were promptly told that we would not be allowed in the restaurant with our dog (claiming that there was no room for a dog). Please note that the restaurant was NOT full--there were only a few occupied tables. We were completely shocked...a vegetarian restaurant unaccepting of a clean, well-behaved, service animal?! This was the ONLY restaurant/cafe/brasserie in all of Paris that did not allow our service dog. In every other dining establishment, he joined us, rested under or near the table and was treated very warmly by the staff. We were extremely disappointed and surprised with Le Potager and will not return--with or without our dog.
