  • Mediocre pizza for NE standards

Ordering pizza from a restaurant chain already tells you one thing: the pizza will have an assembly-line feel. Yes, that is true for this pizza chain shop in Arlington. It's conveniently located away from most of the parking insanity in downtown's high density area, but it has the traffic of Washington Blvd. Order in advance, and consider then just picking it up. The operation is more of a takeout, pick-up or delivery joint rather than a sit-down eatery. With only about a dozen seats total in this small space, it serves the purpose of creating food but not for sitting and enjoying it. The pizza has gluten free, whole grain and regular vegan crust options, along with vegan cheese. The toppings are standard fare, and really nothing extraordinarily exciting. When the pizza is made, it is right after you order it. So, it's like most other pizza places in creating your order freshly and quickly. When it's done, it's piping hot, but, it's not what I hope to eat in pizza. This is Californian style pizza with the thin bready-crust and fresh Californian style layering of veggies. It's ok and will feed you pretty well, but, I'd rather eat somewhere else for pizza. Vegan-friendly for sure, but, it will not knock your socks off with the deliciousness.
