- Vegan heaven
We made a special trip to Pie & Ale and were not disappointed! There were tons of clearly labelled vegan options for a restaurant that serves meat. The staff actually ask if you want your meal to be vegan when you order a labelled dish. The white bean, butternut squash and kale pie with mash and mushy peas was heavenly; the portion sizes are HUGE though - I couldn't finish it all! I will definitely be back to try one of the lighter meals so I have room for the apple pie ☺️
