- The Place To Go for Great Food
Please try this place out. It's delicious and relaxing and the owners are great to chat with. We started with a refreshing glass of mint water and also tried cucumber water. For the entree, I had an excellent shitaki mushroom burger with a millet based bun, all well accented with a smooth, tangy sauce. My partner had the sampler wraps dish that showed off the flavors of the Palm "Tuna" and the Live Hummus. It also included a crazy good rice mix made with brown rice and black Chinese "forbidden" rice, my new comfort food. And lastly included in the wrap sampler were the broccoli nuggets. Wow, such flavors from a nice raw bite of chewy, tangy, dehydrated broccoli. We also asked for one of the chef's famous portabella burgers wrapped in lettuce. Delicious to the point of forcing one to eat in silence while guarding their plate. We then finished up with a spicy glass of their homemade ginger ale. For serious vegans and omnivores alike, there is seriously good food at The Garden of Vegan.
