  • One of our favorites on Sanibel

We come here every time we visit Sanibel. The food is fresh and there are so may options. They also have a good craft beer selection. The base of all the rice and beans and veggies is vegan, so it's easy for vegans to customize a dish, plus there are several ready-made vegan offerings on the menu already. They seem to have changed their menu since the the last time we visited. I am obsessed with their chips, which are fresh made there and are flour chips, not corn chips. They are addictive. I end up filling up on those before dinner! They were served with 4 kinds of salsa. I got the Peter's taco (vegan) and my husband got the Jerry's special enchilada (vegan). Both were tasty, though I do have to say my taco was super spicy. It did not say that on the menu, and in the ingredients list did not indicate anything spicy. It was too spicy for me to eat. Fortunately, my husband likes spicy so we traded (though the enchiladas had a little kick too). If you do not like spicy, make sure to tell them.
