  • Not bad for a cheap filling meal, limited menu

This is a small Indian-style Vaishnava place (similar to Govindas/ISKCON restaurants but doesn't appear to be affiliated). They mostly only had the menu of the day to offer, which included a drink, dhal soup, a main dish with vegetables, rice and vegan Spanish omelette, and a choice of dessert. The soup was tasty and filling. The drink was a fairly light type of cold herbal tea, but it was refreshing enough. The main dish was not bad - the vegan Spanish tortilla/omelette was decent enough, although I would have liked a little more in terms of beans/pulses etc. We also ordered a samosa which wasn't really interesting at all unfortunately, however the owner/server did recommend the dish of the day as the best option, and she was very patient and friendly when taking the order. The desserts (carob or apple cake) were quite good, and overall it was good value for a nice meal, even though the options were quite limited.
