- Interesting, different dishes
Good service and a friendly welcome. Wooden tables and chairs indoors, but open to the street so we saw a few insects creeping around. Some interesting dishes to try, such as the Thali which came with dahl, 2 curries, roti bread, rice etc. Dahl was especially nice. Also tried the mushroom and tofu burger with chips. And the breaded tofu and lemongrass dish was really unusual and delicious. Also fresh juices and smoothies. A bit more expensive than some of the other local cafes but a wider range of dishes from around the world. Also, this is clearly a vegan cafe supporting animal rights and has programmes to help local poor people (e.g. pending meals, where you can pay for a meal that they will give away to someone who needs one).
