- A good choice in a useful location
My wife and I sometimes want a place to eat about halfway between Toronto and Stratford. This one seemed promising, so we stopped in for dinner earlier this month. The food is fresh and good, though it took a little longer to prepare than I expected. If you know other raw food restaurants, you won't find anything especially surprising here -- it was neither unexpectedly pleasant nor unpleasant. Both the food presentation and the restaurant itself are on the informal side -- this is not the place to show someone how fancy and elegant vegan cooking can be. That's not a complaint, that's just a description. Its informality does make it very family-friendly. It's definitely worth going 5 minutes out of the way along the 401 to stop here, though it's not the kind of place that makes me enthuse "Oh, boy! I need to drive along the 401, and that will give me an opportunity to stop in Milton."
