  • Middle Eastern - French fusion

This is a Middle- Eastern style fast food place but with a really imaginative French twist. You can sit in (inside or outside) or take away. All the felafel and salad combos are available in three sizes. I went for Y Petit Faim (a little hungry) portion of Le Provençal option which was plenty for me. It consisted of a few delicious felafel plus dried tomato 'caviar', artichoke 'caviar', a tomato sauce, aubergine, cucumber, lettuce, tomato and grated carrot. The 'caviars' were absolutely delicious with really interesting flavours. The aubergine was velvety soft, although slightly bitter. This was all served with a flat bread pocket which you could stuff yourself. I also ordered a bottle of beer but there are several other options for drinks. I was really impressed with this place; there were lots of different options, all of which sounded great. The only downside was that everything was served in disposable containers, even if you were sitting in, with plastic cutlery and no segregation for recycling apparent, even for my glass beer bottle.
