  • Fabulous experience

My husband and I visited this restaurant recently during our trip to Lisbon. The address was confusing, there are two streets with the same name, I think. This one was near the square, and tucked into a very residential neighborhood. GPS found it, and even though we wandered a bit to find it, it was VERY worth it. They encourage you to call for directions if needed. The tiny kitchen is in the middle of the very intimate restaurant, which has about 5 tables. It is fun to watch the chef, Alice, make the food. The waiter was extremely friendly, and spoke English extremely well. Our food was great- there are 4 rotating (and unique) tapas and 1 main dish to choose from. Very reasonably priced. My husband and I shared 3 tapas and the main dish along with a few beers, and it was the perfect amount. I am sad I don't live in the area and won't have the chance to become a regular at this restaurant...
