• Fun, Funky and Mainly Vegan

We stopped in here for a mid-morning snack. I had a nice bean salad - very flavorful - and called it lunch. My husband had some pastry that he loved. The coffee drinks were as expected. The service was friendly. I wouldn't come in here if I was in a hurry - you shouldn't expect a Starbucks vibe. This is a laid back place. The inside is amazing - it's a must-see. The only con was that I think they took funky a bit far with the recessed panel doors for seating. It's fairly uncomfortable having your [censored] in a hole and the edges of the panel digging into your legs, but it's probably good for turnover. :-) That, and I think the owners didn't quite realize that if you use regular paint on a table, it will start to feel tacky after it gets washed a lot. But these were petty issues - it was still fun and good - and it's so lovely to have a vegan place to go.
