I read about Prunus and disappointedly expected it to be closed as it was a Monday but was thrilled to find it open, they explained that it's the high season (late September). The sisters who run it were friendly and spoke some English and everything was delicious. They even gave us seconds of the tasty agar jelly dessert. It made our day in Arashiyama perfect.
