• Best vegan ice cream in Bonn

Cassius Garten definitely has the best vegan ice cream in Bonn. Since 2015 (or 2014?) all of the ice cream flavors and waffles in the café are vegan. Apart from the obvious fruit sorbets (coconut is the best in my opinion), you can also get flavors such as (soy) yoghurt, coffee, chocolate, noissette, licorice and others (subject to availability). I’ve also eaten several times in the restaurant and am a big fan of their salads (approx. 2/3 of the salads are vegan and clearly marked with a green dot). The only thing I do not like about Cassius Garten is that the price for food in the restaurant is determined by weight, so it can get quite expensive. I’d also recommend this place for people with food allergies/intolerances as all common allergens are clearly indicated. Staff is also very friendly and will gladly help you if you have any questions about the food. Updated from previous review on Monday August 10, 2015
