  • Nice But Pricey And Not Veg

Tierra Sana is an upmarket, tourist-oriented restaurant. We were disappointed to find that - despite advertising - it is not vegetarian, serving a number of fish and chicken dishes. I've encountered this a number of times in South America, and cannot understand it - if you advertise yourself as veg, you're not going to get any committed meat munchers.. But back to the meal: the prices are high, especially on Sundays with no set meal, so we shared the African Stew between us - very expensive at 39bs for a smallish meal of rice, beans, bananas and a few veges.
