  • Ohhh...So Delicious and served with so much warmth

It was one of the best vegetarian food we have tried in Hoi An with quality ingredients and a warm heart. It is a walk from the city centre, as we entered we were warmly greeted and graciously served. This was a breath of fresh air, given that many vendors here just want to sell you anything at a ridiculously high price, sadly the attitude is grab as much money as you can with the flavour of grumpiness. My sense is it is ignorance, that they are burnt out by the tourist overload and overcome by greed. We have travelled around the world and so for this place takes it to the extreme so you learn to be sharp and tune in to your intuition. There are valuable lessons to be learned from each experience, good or bad. Each place has a gift to share. This place felt sincere. We tried the local dishes like Cao Lao, Rose dumplings....felt so good and clean after eating it and price was more than fair. I have signed up for a cooking class for Monday a.m. and they offered to take me along to the market to buy the fresh vegs so that I can experience it from a local perspective, very much looking forward to it. Many places here add MSG, legacy of war time rationing but this place felt like it did not, I think. Please confirm. Well Worth the effort to get here.
