  • vegan ramen!!

We all know Tokyo is full of ramen shops but it's nearly impossible to find any vegetable-based options. T's is an oasis! The shop name T's Tantan refers to the popular tantan men (from the Chinese "dandan mian") which is a type of ramen that originated in Sichuan and features pickled vegetables and a distinct sesame paste. Several different types of ramen are available including some interesting seasonal varieties. Spiciness levels are clearly marked on the Japanese menu but I have no idea about the English menu. Japanese-style curry and karaage (fake fried 'chicken') also available. An excellent choice for a quick meal. As others have noted, it is indeed INSIDE the JR lines' ticket gate which means that you will still need to purchase a ticket even if you don't want to get on a train.
