  • Good If You're Craving Veg Sushi

I've been here several times -- the food is tasty and reasonably priced. The sushi is good value for money, and the dumpling soup with mushrooms is really tasty. The staff don't speak English and if you're vegan, it's a bit tricky. Even though some items are labelled with eggs, most of the sushi I've ever ordered comes drizzled with a giant amount of white-mayo-looking sauce (even though it's not shown on the pictures in the menu!) which I can only assume has eggs and/or dairy in it. The last visit, I came mid-afternoon and there was only one person in the restaurant. I was ignored for 15 minutes, and had to go to the till and physically grab a menu myself. I ordered takeaway since I felt awkward and didn't want to stay. The server came down and plopped my takeaway bag on the table without saying a word, but not all the food I ordered was in it. I had to poke around the kitchen entrance (she saw me and ignored me again!) and try to communicate to someone that I was waiting for the rest of my food that I had ordered since the staff were sitting around eating and didn't want to be disturbed. I recommend coming in the evening and sitting in. The vibe is better and it's usually pretty busy. Although the service isn't great, this is what I've come to expect in HK, especially outside of the island!
