- Hot Vimto and a comfy seat
The Odd bar is a great place in the Northern Quarter. I am always happy to see Hot Vimto on the menu; such a Manchester thing. They also have a good range of other soft and alcoholic drinks. The menu is quite large and although they do some meat dishes they have a good few vegan options and the vegetarian options can be "veganised" too (they use vegan mayo, for instance). Portions tend to be quite large so good for a hearty lunch. The service is speedy and the staff are nice. The decor is great, local artists have decorated the walls. There are two other "Odd" bars in Manchester although I have not yet visited them. "Odder", and "Oddest", which have similar menus but also specials of their own.
