I have been to Berlin many times now. Each time I head out on my vegan adventures, stumbling into amazing and average places alike. However, this was gold! 5 star service with 5 star food. The atmosphere resembles a mom and pop shop, similar to those I grew up with across Montreal as a young boy. The walls were littered with vintage and artistic expression. From posters to trinkets, each holding onto a story of someone's past. The tables and chairs all holding their own character. Each different, yet somehow, they combine to make the perfect small homelike restaurant appeal. The food was beyond incredible. Tonight i feasted on both a green pizza (grüne rustica). It was so tasty. Every part lending itself to the pallet. The sauces tickled my tastebuds like an old Italian dance. Absolutely fantastic. The next dish held its own perfectly. Like a sequel to a movie that exceeds all expectations. I loved the Penette alla boscaiola that spent a short time in front of me! Lastly, it was all topped off by the last piece of cake they held in their precious protective case. It was unbelievably satisfying. Thank you for the most amazing vegan experience I've ever had at a pizza place!
