I was happy to find a vegetarian restaurant after a few boring meals with veggies and bread. The staff showed me what was vegan when I was there: all the salads and about half of the hot dishes. Needless to say, I was more interested in the hot dishes and could sample them all for a price that was very affordable. Everything I had was good or great, although it could have been a tad warmer. When I inquired about the vegan desserts, I was quite disappointed because only one of the many desserts was actually vegan. Had I stayed longer in Évora, I'd have gone to Salsa Verde every day.
