  • More suitable for vegetarians

We went for lunch today. The menu is written on a chalk board in Italian, however they were happy to explain each dish. Most of the dishes contained cheese, I think from memory only the soup didn't. They were happy to omit the cheese to make it vegan where they could. One of the dishes ordered (pasta and pesto) he said could be made without cheese however he returned after our order and said the pesto also contained cheese. We proceeded with the order as my cousin isn't veggie but she doesn't eat much so I like to be able to finish her dishes off as I have a large appetite. When the dish was served the woman said without cheese so I clarified referring to the man you said cheese was in the pesto and she said oh yes a little bit. Therefore I recommend that this restaurant is better for vegetarians and not vegans.
