  • fully vegetarian as of Aug 2014

I and my wife went there after seeing the listing on the Happy Cow app, and realised it was literally only 30 seconds from our rented apartment! We had lunch, which was fully vegetarian, in fact when we walked in the waitress asked us if we were aware that it was vegetarian before sitting and ordering, so that brought a pleasant smile to my face. The word 'smile' is quite ironic in a way, as although the food was very decent (the to desserts we ordered were excellent), we struggled to see anyone working there smile once! We saw a total of two kitchen staff and two waitresses and literarily no one was smiling. The younger of the two looked so sullen looking it was as though everything she did for the customers was below her. This shouldn't detract from the food (which as I've said before, was quite good) and the fact that I like to support vegetarian restaurants, especially when they're in places not known for being particularly veggie friendly, but it does have some bearing on the pleasantness of the experience in my view. Hopefully this was just a bad day for them, but I feared this was the norm. try it out, but bear in mind the stern faces!
