The Globe is a great place. It's a warm friendly pub with a great atmosphere. Everything is vegan, and it's great value. Dogs are welcome and it's a good stop after a walk in the Glossop hills. This is pub grub; you wont find fantastic high end food here, and it's not a healthy option, but for old fashioned comfort pub food that vegans can find difficult to get, this is brilliant. Tasty and filling curries, really good chips and gravy and particularly like the creamy mushroom dish. They've begun making their own ice creams, which really are very good,(choc and tia-maria!) and the choc cake is very occasionally a bit dry, but more often fab.
