We visited The Globe for lunch, a group of five, four of us vegan. The menu isn't extensive but there was something that we all liked available and it's all vegan. The menu is based around quite homely cooked food, e.g chilli, curry etc. The portions not huge but we felt about right if you wanted to eat three courses. The prices here are very reasonable. We plumped for the homemade ice cream for dessert which is honestly the best I've tasted as yet. The atmosphere is a bit strange. The place could definitely do with brightening up, cleaning and decorating. The dried flowers hanging from the ceiling make the place feel darker and I'm sure do nothing but collect dust and dirt! Toilets weren't the best. The bar staff weren't overly friendly either. We'd all have no hesitation to return though but they could definitely do with making a few small changes.
