vegans of southend were filled with a great sadness when the one and only veggie restaurant shut down, so it made everyone happy when local alternative pub decided to make their menu purely vegetarian and vegan! I have ate here twice now. The first time I had the vegan burger which was a large vegetable burger with a generous serving of sauteed potatoes on the side and today I tried the vegan thai green curry which was delicious filled with veg and had a lovely kick. The meals are all £7 and are generous portions, the vegan items are marked clearly on the menu with a V.
