- Avocado was a home away from home
We spent 4 days in Athens and ate one meal out each day. That meal was at Avocado. Even though my husband is not even a vegetarian, we both enjoyed the food and ambiance and staff greatly. Maria is a delight and the owner is quite charming as well. We were seated outside when a couple sat outside to eat and smoke. They happily reseated us inside and opened the back door (it was 90 outside). I am an eggless vegetarian and could not eat everything they serve; but was very happy with their Gratitude Salad, Abundance and Mushroom Prana, Vegan pizza and special Greek appetizer.
