  • Location moved to Trolley Square

This whole foods has moved locations to Trolley Square (500 e and 600 s). It is giant now. And much more vegan friendly as well. It has the best vegan baked goods selection of any whole foods in the valley that I've been to. They carry mighty o donuts (from seattle) and city cakes cupcakes (local), in addition to cookies and other baked goods they make in the store. The hot foods bar has a number of vegan options, although I don't think they are particularly tasty and they never seem to change it up. Vegan taquitos w/ daiya are usually dried out. Lots of indian food that is sub-par. They do have a number of vegan soups that are good though. I think the split pea is the best, although probably could use a shake of salt in it. Every now and then the label doesn't match the food under it, in the hot food bar, and since the labels are also marked vegan, vegetarian, etc. just make sure that the label is accurate for what the tray of food looks like. There is a sandwich making station that has a vegan reuben that is good. The oriental food station is dragon grill style and okay priced and okay tasting. Nothing amazing.
