• Organic Vegan Beachside Paradise

Delicious Organic Vegan food! 100% gluten free and vegetarian. Range of 6 salads and about 12 hot mains as well as desserts and yummy chai! Organic coffee sourced from Jack of Harts, Engadine. All the food is vegan except honey in some desserts or in hot chocolate (they put it in without asking us, I could taste it, but they have rice syrup as an alternative), so be sure to clarify which you want! They do provide soy or cows milk for hot drinks. Some choices included chickpea kofta balls in tangy tomato sauce, chickpea and eggplant curry and tofu and pumpkin, satay tofu and eggplant with tomato or satay sauce, corn cakes and curry. The salads included sweet potato, broccoli and beans, carrot, tabouleh, etc. Also had relishes/sauces including eggplant tahini, hommus, tomato, pesto. The pesto and eggplant tahini was yummy. I got a take away large which had a great mixture of a lot of so yummy things with relishes too! Everything tasted so vibrant. Also had a carrot cake with maple syrup coconut on top! Didn't even notice it was all gluten free! They also have Ruby Fruit cakes and cheesecakes, YUM! I had lime and coconut cake, the icing was a bit much though. Friendly staff, even after one year! They said they make everything in a kitchen down the coast and bring it up. Plenty of stroller room in the cafe and organic drinks in the fridge. Kid play equipment not far away and beach a short stroll. All I can say is yummy!! I've been back about 5 or 6 times as I live in the Sutherland Shire.
