  • Could be better

It's a nice cozy place near the ocean and close to the giant Buddha. Very recommended if you simply want to relax after sigh-seeing in Kamakura (the only thing I missed was Wi-Fi). However, if you want to satisfy your hunger and not spend a fortune, I would recommend some other places. The food itself is nice and delicious (I tried bibimbap) but the portion is far from enough, especially considering that it costs 1200-1300 yen and includes no drinks or desserts. So, minus one star for that. One more star is missing because the restaurant is not 100% vegan. Actually, there were only two vegan dishes that day. This could be improved. On the positive note, Magokoro is English-friendly so you can go there even without knowing any words in Japanese. In contrast with other comments, the food was served in 10 minutes or so. There was no need to wait for a long time.
