- Unique place! Not to miss!
I'm so glad I stumbled on to this hidden treasure! Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood of Puerto Escondido near to Zicatela Beach I found the Osa Mariposa and couldn't quit eating there during my stay in town. They make their own tempeh, tofu, breads, burgers... everything. All vegan based! Holy cow. And soooooo good. A traveling vegetarian can't miss out on this experience. Eating f*$%* delicious vegetarian food in an incredible tropical garden with the sound of the waves in the background. It's like a little puddle of heaven. Don't miss it!!! (I ran into this place by chance. Later I found that most taxi drivers know it. It's in a neighborhood called "Brisas de Zicatela" near to La Punta. A diamond in the rough!)
