  • A vegetarian oasis in Central America

This place has excellent food (with plenty of vegan options), a fantastic atmosphere, and is reasonably priced. The owner (Tony) is American/Guatemalan and has been running the restaurant for a very long time. The recipes have been passed down through the generations and the food is delicious - soups, salads, lasagna/pasta, sandwiches, macadamia nut pie - everything is done well. Social justice and animal rights themes are prevalent without being in-your-face. Beautiful garden. Overall, an oasis for vegetarians in Central America!
