Updated ten years after initial review: Ten years later I can attest that Vegetable Garden is consistently excellent - with delicious food and attentive service. The menu options are many. There are healthy options and less healthy options. Many many faux meet options for the non-vegans among us. We love: Soups (vegetable hot & sour), Sushi appetizer, spicy cumin tofu, 8 treasure eggplant, eggplant surprise, garden teriyaki bowl, kung pao tofu, hen of the woods, and moo [censored] vegetables. Ten percent discount for paying in cash or if a member of the Veg Society of DC (VSDC). From August 2010: Amazingly wonderful veggie fare. We go a couple times a month, and are NEVER disappointed.
