- Happy at Wild Cow
As a vegetarian with vegan tendencies, eating out in Nashville can sometimes be a challenge. Luckily, we have the Wild Cow. Since it is convenient to downtown Nashville, I try to have lunch here at least once a week. The menu is mainly consists of sandwiches and salads with a few appetizers and a daily special. All items are vegan but the ovo/lacto crowd can get milk based cheese if desired. The deserts are vegan and I can confirm that the cakes are very good. I've made a point of ordering a different menu item at every visit and I have enjoyed every meal. The atmosphere is laid back, the kitchen is visible to the customers and it obvious the staff goes to great lengths to ensure cleanliness.
