- An Oasis
My husband and I were traveling across the country and went out of our way to visit vegan/vegetarian restaurants along our trip. The Green Owl Cafe was an oasis for these traveling vegans in the not so veg-friendly middle of the country! The majority of the menu is vegan with very diverse options. I ordered the Raw Taco Plate and the Devil Wings and loved them both! My husband ordered the Crabby Cake Po'Boy, but didn't really care for it. I even bought a cute t-shirt as a souvenir.
