- Cosy restaurant, great food
We got there about 5.30 on a Saturday evening and it was very busy already. We got a table right away but there were not many free, so it would be well-worth booking, especially if you go at a prime time. We ordered two Tropical smoothies but they had an overly savoury/bitter flavour to them so we didn't like them. I ordered the BBQ bowl which comes with soy curls, mac and cheese and corn bread. The corn bread was a bit burnt so we had to cut bits off, but the remaining bits were really nice. Mac and cheese was great. The BBQ soy curls were a bit spicy so I took some home and ate them the next day. They really mellowed out in the fridge and were great the next day. My partner ordered the cheese burger, which came with roasted fingerling potatoes. The potatoes were absolutely incredible and the cheeseburger was very tasty too. We ordered the Nutella cake for dessert, with a scoop of the vanilla ice-cream. It was chocolate cake with choc hazelnut frosting. We were hoping for the whole cake to be Nutella flavoured and not just the icing, but it was still really good. The slice was huge so we recommend sharing.
