- Ran down place with great potential
This place is located in an ancient alley in Old Town Suzhou, near Hanshan Temple. The building is historic and has great potential. Unfortunately, it has not been kept up and it shows. The floors, bathrooms, table clothes - everything was dirty and dusty. The food was very nice and everything is completely vegetarian. The waiting staff was rude and lacked every form of devotion to their job. Maybe there was a reason for us being the only guests in the whole establishment? In the end we ended up not getting a third of the dishes we had ordered but were billed for those anyway. We walked out with fairly fond memories of the food, but due to the lacking service and dilapidated condition of this place we will not return.
