- Great food and good value
This was our last meal in China and probably rates as one of the best in our 5 week stay. Its a small family run place and very unpretentious (unlike most vegetarian restaurants). There is an English menu but has no prices or pictures and the staff speak no English at all. There's a chinese picture menu too but not sure if this has prices. It was all very reasonably priced though (dishes between 12 - 26 yuan). The crispy duck and fish in brown sauce were particularly good. There is no English sign outside but the telephone number on the window correlates with the one on here. Its 8km from the old part of town (18 yuan in a taxi or 1 yuan on the bus (bus 301 stops near the restaurant))
