- Mixed Bag
Peacefood Cafe promises more than it delivers. The ambience, the service are all very pleasant. But the food itself left a lot to be desired. It was not bad, just not great. Ia lso have a problem with any vegetarian restaurant that describes its items in terms of dead animals, albeit faux. The potato leek soup was excellent so was teh orange apple cider. Both were perfect antidotes to the frigid, chilly weather outside. However the soy cutlet (tasted too doughy) with the penne pasta (over spiced and over whelming), the Shanghai style dumplings (were limp and doughy) and the tamale (very tame) were disappointing.
