- Good vibes
This is now our go-to place for vegan "comfort food" or celebrations. It has a peaceful, quiet atmosphere and everything exudes positive vibes. Pretty much went through the whole menu now and everything is delicious with just the right amount of spice (the weak of heart would tell you it's too spicy. Hah! Just scoff at them and keep eating and don't believe them when they tell you the lemon grass leaves are not edible) it's very aptly named. The gingerness is strong with this one. The staff are incredibly nice and are more than happy to discuss the menu with you. You'll also find a little library of books all about spiritual wellbeing and how it pertains to food, as well as inspirational posters and art displayed around the place. A huge plus is that the owner Sheikha Alarfaj is passionate about the vegan message, holds regular cooking classes and is always looking for new additions to the menu. They had been trying out a date-based dessert item that hopefully will be up on the menu, cause it was to die for. I also find it cute that the check is a handwritten note. They seem to do catering and it's rare to find completely vegan catering in Kuwait.
