- Ignore old posts, this is one of the best
So I wanted to post because some of the old reviews say that there is smoking here. Indeed I was here many years ago and it was like that, but now it's much classier of a joint, no smoking whatsoever. It is a sit on the floor type of restaurant which is my favorite style. The food is solid, clean, and well done. I give them 5 stars for their being ahead of the curve in Nepal about gluten free items. I've had the falafel which is really good, I see that with the last reviewer that the hummus and tahini are slightly bland for my taste, but I get a side of lemon and it solves that. The pumpkin soup is great if you are looking for something lighter. Their pesto pasta was decadent, I couldn't believe I finished the whole thing. And I don't know of any other restaurant that serves gluten free pasta. You can order gf buckwheat roti in place of most bread, a very thoughtful addition. The platters are a lot of food, for at least 2 people. And the chocolate pumpkin tart is excellent. The flavors may not blast your mind especially if you are from the west, but each dish is thoughtfully executed that I've tried so far and look forward to more.
